To ensure our events are enjoyable and well-supported, Saint Mary Academy Athletics, with support from the parish, has decided to implement an online ordering system. All meals must be pre-purchased. This advanced notice allows our volunteers to be mindful of our expenses and resources.

Volunteers are needed! Running our Fish Fry events is not possible without the support of our volunteers, thank you in advance for any time that you are able to offer to support us. Together, many hands make light work!

Mrs. Cardosi earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University and Masters Degree from Western Governors State in Special Education.
Mrs. Cardosi has twenty-four years of teaching experience, sixteen of those years in the Archdiocese of Louisville. She taught 6th grade for three years at St. Albert in Council Bluffs, Iowa followed by three years of Kindergarten in Omaha, Nebraska. While raising her three children in Louisville, she taught preschool, Sunday school, and Bible school. Most recently, Mrs. Cardosi taught 2nd grade for 14 years and this is her third year as a Learning Coordinator at Saint Mary Academy.
Mrs. Cardosi’s hobbies include reading, exercising, sports, and spending time with her family.
Cafeteria Position Hiring!
Cafeteria Dishwasher – Part-time position – 3 days a week
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10am – 1pm when school is in session. Description: responsible for operating dishwasher as well as other odd jobs helping in the kitchen. Must be dependable and a team player. Starting wage $15/hour
All Candidates must follow health department food handling guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Candidates should be willing to complete a background check,and attend a Safe Environment Training

Snow Days/Online Learning Update
Saint Mary Academy has used our 5 online learning days and our 1 previously built-in snow day granted by the Archdiocese. These 5 days count as school days that do not need to be made up. Should SMA experience any additional snow days this winter, they will be considered “true” snow days with no online work requirements. In addition, we would need to make up these days in the 2024-2025 school year calendar.
Due to our additional snow days on Tuesday, February 11th and Wednesday, February 19th, Saint Mary Academy will make up these school days on Monday, April 21st and Friday, May 2nd.
We will make up any additional future potential snow days the week of May 27th.
